To directly assign images displayed in your browser as your desktop wallpaper:

  1. Right-click on the image of your choice, and a pop-up menu will appear.
  2. Select "set as wallpaper" or "set as background"

In order to set images as your desktop wallpaper when downloading:

  1. Right-click on the image of your choice, and a pop-up menu will appear.
  2. Select "save picture as" and save the image in your desired location.
  3. Go to "Display Properties" then to the "Background" tab and select the saved image using the "Browse" button.
    * You can open "Display Properties" by selecting "Start" "Settings" "Control Panel" then "Display" Or you may also right-click with your mouse on the desktop and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.

Note:

The terms used in your context menu windows may vary according to the type and/or version of your internet browser. When "Active Desktop" is not valid, try to convert your saved JPEG files to BMP files.


Mac OS

  1. Open the pop-up menu by mouse-clicking on the image of your choice while holding down the Control button.
  2. Select "Download Image to Disk" or "Save Image As" and save the image in the desired location.
  3. Set the newly saved image file as your wallpaper. (There are some differences about how to set your desktop wallpaper, depending on your OS version.)

Mac OS 8.5/8.6/9.0


Open up "Control Panels" and click on "Appearance" Select the "Desktop" tab and assign your newly saved image file using the "Select Picture" button.

Mac OS 8.0/8.1

Open up "Control Panels" and click on "Desktop Pictures" After clicking on "Picture" drag and drop the newly saved image file and click on "Set Desktop"

Mac OS X

Open up "System Preferences" click the "Desktop" icon and select the saved image file. (You can also set your wallpaper by drag-and-dropping the saved image file into the "Current Desktop Picture" box displaying the current wallpaper.)
