During the daytime in summer, temperatures in Kuwait rise above 40 degrees Celsius and it is said they can even reach 50 degrees. Fierce sandstorms also assail the city from time to time. The waters of the Persian Gulf are always like a shimmering “oasis” for the people of Kuwait.
