In contrast to yesterday's stadium Gymkhana riding, today the PAN-ASEAN TOURING caravan did some actual touring. The distance may have been short, but we still toured for about 50 km. The aim was to tour to Sentosa Island and enjoy a leisurely day there. Sentosa is a nearby resort island that can be reached from downtown Singapore in about 20 minutes. At the same time, it is also an international resort that attracts visitors from around the world. Our PAN-ASEAN riders and staff decided leave the bikes on the main island and take the cable car across to Sentosa, which gave us enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way from the air.
Everyone gather to take pictures in front of the hotel at a little past 8:30, before we departed. For some reason, today's touring had a different feel to it. Today, we had a woman riding with us for the first time, Ms. Hui Min Tay of Singapore. She is an active person who enjoys riding her Yamaha WR250F as well as other sports like roller blading and canoeing. She immediately became the center of attention, a bright spot in what until now has been an all-male tour. Also joining us from Singapore is Mr. Ryhan Bin Kamaruddin.
Despite the heavy morning traffic, our caravan made steady progress. Singapore certainly has a metropolitan atmosphere, but at the same time it is a city of beautiful streets with lots of greenery and trees that make it a pleasure to ride in. By dividing the riders into two groups, we were able to manipulate things like right turns and lane changes smoothly. Here in Singapore, we have no police escort to lead us, so this strategy was very effective. Our chief marshal, Tony, is a veteran tourer who makes motorcycle trips to places like Thailand and Malaysia every year, so he knows how to ride safely in groups.
We arrived at the cable car terminal that is the entrance to Sentosa Island on schedule just before noon. We left our bikes there to cross over to the island. After entering the island by cable car, the riders were free to enjoy an afternoon of recreation for the first time since Genting Highlands in Malaysia. There was plenty for them to do, visiting the aquarium, enjoying the spectacular view from the Sky Tower and enjoying the rides and attractions.
We finally returned to our hotel at 5:30 in the evening. That night there was a party to celebrate the end of our short but enjoyable Singapore tour. Awards were given out for yesterday's Gymkhana competition and souvenirs were presented to all the riders, thus ending leg four of the PAN-ASEAN TOURING.

To Sentosa Island for the last day of the Singapore leg
We departed on a 50 km out-and-back tour on our third and last day in Singapore
The streets of Singapore are wide but there is lots of traffic and it moves along at a quick pace. The riders were divided into two groups so that they could maneuver easily through the city traffic. This was a good strategy by our chief marshal, Tony Yeo, who is an experienced veteran in motorcycle touring.
Sentosa Island is a popular resort with white sand beaches, an aquarium, golf course and other attractions. Enjoying the view from the Carlsberg Sky Tower are (from front) riding marshal Abdul Manap, chief marshal Tony Yeo, rider Daniel Phoon, who has been with us since Malaysia and Chuchat Sohmanee from Thailand, who hates heights but got up the courage to join us
Although the distance was short, we were able to enjoy touring through the beautifully maintained streets of Singapore with their cosmopolitan atmosphere and abundant greenery
Ms. Hui Min Tay joined the touring today, although she missed yesterday's Gymkhana. She is an avid motorcycle rider whose works as a professional makeup artist
